SPECIAL FEATURES
AVK International Residential School aims to impart skills and values for excellence in all realms of life in an environment of personal attention. Our curriculum is more of child centered and unique in nature with innovative approach, channelizing in multiple intelligences and different learning, to adopt in any environment.
Our approach is progressive. The teachers are more committed towards their goals, and are focused in community development. They instill confidence and self discipline among children with their integral approach for a wholesome personality development. We believe in "INSPIRATION, IMAGINATION & INVENTION". Our teachers make this belief a reality through their creative and effective skills in teaching with the help of excellent facilities offered by the school. We insist on a minimum 10 days of formal training to every teacher, This is in addition to the 2 week orientation, induction training at the beginning of the academic year.
Collaborative Learning Grade I – V
The Grade children share ideas and experiences. Here the children are made to realize their full potentials & skills. At this stage more structured form of subjects are taught along with vernacular languages.
Middle school
The school follows courses in accordance with the requirement of CBSE with the teachers, given freedom to frame their need – based syllabus. Here the students are given a strong academic foundation, command over the languages, proficiency in math, Science, Social Science through theory & Practical along with co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Secondary: Grade 9 & 10
These two years fortify the students for All India Secondary School Education Examinations. The curriculum at this stage strictly follows the Central Board Syllabus along with Co – curricular &Extracurricular activities. Special attention is given to the building adolescent children to guide them in the right direction and to discover their interest in the future course of studies.
